The Hotel

Nestled alongside the picturesque fjord in the serene village of Solvorn within Luster, you’ll find Walaker Hotel. Passed down through generations, this enchanting family-owned hotel is a cherished landmark in its own right, situated amidst what National Geographic has dubbed the world’s premier tourist destination. Dating back to 1690, the hotel proudly retains its familial ownership, boasting over 370 years of rich history and standing as Norway’s oldest continuously operated family-run hotel. The bedrooms are divided between two structures. The main building houses the historic rooms, while the annex offers more contemporary accommodations.
